Chad & Jody Birthday Dinner

Since our birthdays are three days apart, Mom took Chad, the girls and I out for a joint birthday dinner at Carraba's (our favorite Italian restaurant!) Mike, Kelly and Emily joined us. The food was delicious and the company excellent.

Chad's Birthday

Chad had to work on his birthday AND we had three soccer games that night so we had a birthday celebration at lunch. I cooked one of Chad's favorite meals and the girls and I made a cake. He was surprised when he came home.

Raegan Graduates!

Today, Raegan graduated from Preschool. She was very excited.

Graduation song

The preschool class sang a song for the graduation. It was called "Berry's Chapel Bunch". There was supposed to be a second verse but the kids stopped there.

Our Soccer Stars

Kudos to Raegan for scoring THREE goals in her double-header yesterday (one in the first game, two in the second). This is a HUGE accomplishment for Raegan as these are the first goals she has ever scored and she scored three.

During the first game of last season, Raegan started off strong, but then got hurt pretty badly. She spent the rest of the season trying to look like she was playing while avoiding the ball. This season, she is a little older and I bribed her. I told her that if she scored I would take her out to eat anywhere she wanted to go. This was her third game and she has come close to scoring in each of the first two games. After she scored her first goal, she yelled "Mom, we're going to McDonald's!" Once she got the taste for scoring she wanted more. I'm interested to see how she plays tomorrow. This may get expensive!

Caden's team is undefeated in their first four games. Caden scored at least one goal per game. She is a FANTASTIC offensive player. We may have a professional soccer player on our hands! :)

Raegan's Prechool Pictures

Here are Raegan's preschool pictures. They were so good, I had to post!

First Communion

Caden's First Communion was yesterday afternoon. She was very excited and looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress!

The ceremony was beautiful and very well done. Caden got to read the Responsorial Psalm and did a great job. Afterwards we had a cookout and cupcakes.

Thanks to everyone who came (Mom, Phyllis, Mike, Kelly and Emily) and to everyone who made this day so special for her!

Yellow is the color

Thursday night was Caden's Spring Production. It was based on Dr. Suess's "My Many Colored Days". Caden's class was yellow. It was a really creative performance!

Spring Carnival

Today was the spring carnival at Raegan's preschool. It was was a lot of fun! There was a petting zoo, rides, jump houses, games, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones and pony rides.

In the pictures are Raegan's teachers, Ms. Cheryl and Ms. Juanita. There is also a picture of Raegan and her friend Tori on some sort of Tilt-a-Whirl.

Maggie's new doo

Maggie got a haircut yesterday. She loves getting shaved and runs around like a puppy when we get it done. She's A LOT skinnier without the hair!
