Fishing Fun

For Addy's birthday, we went fishing at a pond that belongs to a friend of Dad's, Mr. B.

Mr. B. has 200 acres with several ponds which are full of fish. It was very cool, because the girls were guaranteed to catch fish.

We started out catching a lot of small brim. Then we moved to the other side of the pond and started catching catfish. Caden caught three monster catfish, but unfortunately the line broke each time. The line we using wasn't heavy enough because Dad didn't think we would catch any catfish. Chad got the prize for smallest fish.

Afterwards we watched while Mr. B feed the catfish. The catfish came to the surface to eat creating a frenzy the surface like you would imagine piranha's would. It was very cool to see! We also went to see his goldfish pond. The goldfish are supposedly as big as the catfish, but we weren't able to see any of them.

Caden said she wanted to spend her next birthday there. That's a compliment coming from an 8 year old!
