PJ Day

So Addy had "Wear Your Pajama's to School Day" last Friday. The weather has started to warm up, so it was in the high 60's. I had picked out some cute spring pj's for her to wear, but Addy had a different idea.

She insisted on wearing Blue's Clues polar fleece hand-me-down pajamas. They have been washed so much that they have shrunk up. And to top it off, Addy decided to pair them with her brown boots (not pictured.)

I love how at three, she is starting to exert her fashion sense!!!

Ladies...look how lucky I am....

So we have had an unusual amount of snow this year. Last weekend, for the first weekend in months, it was in 60's. So needless to say we did everything we could to stay outside. Fast forward a week of two working parents and three girls and this is what I faced:


Scary right? So as I sit here and blog, look at what my wonderful husband is doing.....

So during some much enjoyed snuggle-time with my sweet Rae, she told me that when she got big, she and her four children were going to come stay with me.
"Four kids?" I said "That's a lot!"
She promptly informed me "Three is for quitters!"

Raegan turns SEVEN!

On January 9th, Raegan turned seven. In celebration of her birthday, Chad and I went to her school for lunch. Instead of a party, Raegan wanted to have a family day so we went ro Third Coast Clay and did pottery -- so much fun. Afterwards, we went to Sweet CiCi's. If you have not been, it is a great treat.

So I have been guilted by a certain Doyle to update my blog. It has been a year since my last post so 2010 in a nutshell: I graduated from Lipscomb with my Masters in Accountancy and got a job as the Staff Accountant at the Country Music Association. Yay me!

Addy turned three last July and in August we went to Ohio to visit the cousins. We went to Cedar Point and to the Islands. It was a lot of fun. At the end of August the girls went back to school. Caden is in 4th grade and Raegan is in 1st. Addy started preschool.

Over Labor Day, we went to Hilton Head. It started out pretty good - the weather was great and Raegan got to see an
alligator (the highlight of her trip) But we also had ended up our first trip ever (x 2) to the ER and then an ambulance ride
from Hilton Head to Savannah Memorial where Addy had surgery for a MRSA infection. The surgery, while incredibly stressful was a success - it literally took three minutes (longest three minutes of my life) And post-surgery, Addy enjoyed the toys and attention she received from the staff. And I have to admit -- posting these pictures make me tear up a bit.

Fall was filled with soccer games since both Caden & Reagan played. Caden had her 10th birthday in October and had a slumber party in celebration. Chad ran his first 10K and placed 3rd in his age group. Yay Chad!!!

Oh and in November, Chad and I got to attend our first CMA Awards (and post-party) which was pretty cool. Then we took Caden & Raegan to the first annual CMA Christmas Special which we thoroughly enjoyed.

And then came Thanksgiving and Christmas. Lot of fun and family. Instead of posting a ton of pictures, I will refer you to my FB page where I have posted most of them.

And Doyles....I promise to try to be more vigilant in my blogging! :)
