It has been a busy week. Last Saturday was our 11th Anniversary. I can't believe we have been married 11 years, but at the same time it seems like we have been together forever. Thanks to the wonderful babysitting duo of Aunt Sarah and Kasey, Chad and I were able to go to the mall to shop for suits and go eat at Stoney River. It was a big night out!
Chad started working in his new position of Detective last Friday, so he has one week under his belt. It was an exciting week in Franklin with one murder and an attempted murder/suicide. On his first day, Chad witnessed his first autopsy. He thinks he is going to like his new position.
Working days hasn't been as big of an adjustment as we had thought. Chad is a morning person so getting up early has not been a problem and I have enjoyed coffee in bed every day. (He's a keeper!) I cook dinner every night and we eat as a family which is nice. Also, Chad gets to see Caden everyday which is a plus. With his old schedule he didn't see her three days a week. And I've found that I get a lot more accomplished with Chad gone during the day.
It is supposed to snow today, but I will believe it when I see it. It was in the 60's yesterday. While I would love to have one final snow, I am really looking forward to the spring so we can start on the landscaping. I'm sure our neighbors are waiting for us to do this too! :)
