Caden's class has been reading Thundercake by Patricia Polocco. I've never read the book, but her class was going to decorate Thunder-cupcakes and needed someone to make 20 cupcakes, so I volunteered.
Yesterday
the girls and I made Thundercake. The recipe calls for pureed tomatoes - yuck! - but it ended up tasting pretty good. And the girls and I had a great time making them. Even Addy got in on the fun.Today Caden's class decorated them with chocolate icing and strawberries. Caden said they were delicious.
