So I started this blog on the recommendation of a friend as a way to keep everyone updated on us. (Thanks Sharron!) I want to start by giving a little background on our family. Chad and I have been happily married for 10 years. Chad is a police officer and I am a stay-at-home Mom. We are blessed to have three beautiful girls, Caden, Raegan & Addison. This year, we moved into our dream house, which we built ourselves. It's on two acres of land, out in the country, surrounded by horse farms. We love our neighbors. On our cul de sac, there are 8 boys (no girls), ranging in age from 18 months to 8 years, so my girls feel like Queens. And they are having the childhood I always envisioned for them: riding bikes, playing four square, soccer, kick ball, hopscotch and all the other games we played when we were kids.

Caden is in second grade and will be eight in 10 days. She loves to read, sing and write songs (which are actually pretty good). Caden is also really good at sports. She plays soccer and is a great offensive player, scoring multiple goals every game. But she likes to play defense because "offense is too much work."
Raegan i
s 4 1/2 and is in preschool. She has the best sense of humor and keeps us in stitches. Raegan is also my "girly-girl". She loves having long hair and wearing dresses. She has a very stubborn streak but at the same time is very loving and caring. (She may do something mean to you, but she is quick to say she is sorry.) Raegan also plays soccer and while she has the potential to be really good, she is more into the "social" part of sports.
Addy is 15 months and has started walking which has opened a whole new world up to her. She is a good natured child and loves to play with her sisters. Addy also seems to talk more than the other girls did at this age. She is my first really good sleeper. When I ask her if she is ready to go to sleep, she will go sit on the bottom step and wait for me to take her upstairs to her room. And when I put her in her bed she falls right to sleep.

We also have two dogs Maggie and Spencer. Chad and I got Maggie a month after we got married. Maggie loves living in the country. She goes exploring in our "woods" and likes to chase deer. Of course, she can never catch them, but she is always up for the challenge.

Spencer is our newest addition. He is a two-year-old King Charles Cavalier. He has befriended the yellow lab, Rush, who lives across the street. Spencer has "little-dog" syndrome and will go sniff dogs that are a lot bigger than he is. Luckily, Rush always comes to back him up. Spencer also likes to chase deer which is hysterical to watch.
I hope you enjoy this blog. I will try to keep it updated with all the things that are going on in our lives.
